Circle/Story Time

Circle time provides an open opportunity for important social interactions such as: sharing thoughts and ideas with classmates, respecting others opinions, taking turns, and following rules.

Arts & Crafts

Kids love arts and crafts because they're so much fun!! They help them to develop their motor skills by using the small muscles in their hands. Art allows children to recognize different shapes, count, sort out, and measure lengths and sizes. Creativity gives them the opportunity to try new ideas, new ways of thinking or doing things, and self-expression. Self-esteem builds confidence and a sense of achievement.

Indoor/Outdoor/Free Play

Sensory playing encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving, creativity and an increase in knowledge about their environment.

 

Outdoors improves physical and social development. It increases the ability to balance, jump, climb, throw, run, skip as well as socialize, collaborate and negotiate with others.

Math & Science

Math concepts such as: recognizing different shapes, counting, sorting out, and measuring out lengths and sizes will help children grow in their numeracy skills for the future.

Science helps children develop their senses and overall awareness of the world around them.

Music

Music sparks different areas such as language, math, concentration, and social skills. Music can also reduce anxiety, blood pressure, pain, improve sleep quality, mood, and memory.
